In this section, we will provide the terms and conditions relating to the sale of our products to our consumers from and through https://umezushi.co.uk/shop. This includes all of our individual ingredients as well as our Sushi Kits. The terms and conditions presented are in compliance with all Government legislation regarding the act of ‘Distance Selling’.
By purchasing one of our products, you are entering into a contract for goods. The point at which the contract starts will be upon receipt of an email confirmation from Umezushi Ltd. stating the products’ purchased.
At this point, all consumers are subject to our policies regarding the service and specifically including cancellation, refunds and returns. More information on this can be found under the appropriate headers below.
The contract will be terminated upon acceptance of the goods by the consumer. If we do not hear from the consumer within 14 days of receiving the goods then we will take this as acceptance of the goods and the contract will be terminated.
We will aim to dispatch your order on the next nearest Wednesday and Thursday.
It is advised that delivery will take 1 day depending on your location to us.
Under Government legislation, we have up to 30 days to fulfill deliveries from the point of purchase and in the case that our product will reach you significantly later than the time frame stated above, we will endeavour to contact you. However, any estimates made are estimates only.
Under UK government legislation, for all non-perishable goods sold on https://umezushi.co.uk/shop there is a 14 day grace period by which a consumer can terminate the contract.
Cancellation may be made within the given time frame by emailing: sales@umezushi.co.uk
In the case that the product arrives faulty or damaged, please email sales@umezushi.co.uk with pictures clearly showing the damaged goods. On receipt of this, we would be more than happy to issue a refund or exchange. This claim must be made within 14 days of receiving the product.
For all perishable goods, i.e. chilled and frozen products, a consumer will have 24 hours after the point of purchasing in which to request a refund. Beyond this point, a refund will no longer be eligible.
Due to the perishable nature of the goods, exchanges are not applicable.

You must be over the age of eighteen years in order to purchase products and/or services from our site.
Umezushi Ltd. will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligation to supply the products under the condition that this is due to a circumstance beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
Any breach of the conditions stated above from either party will result in a termination of the contract. Both parties may take reasonable action in compliance with the UK government guidelines and legislation.
Umezushi Ltd. reserves the right to alter our terms and conditions where necessary.
The terms and conditions that are stated on our site at the point of purchase for the consumer will be upheld.
Any alterations made will be done so in compliance with UK government legislation.
