It varies. The usual format will most likely include of soups, sashimi, nigiri, something grilled, seared or fried. We are also planning on doing some themed events, such as crustacean feasts, seafood boil, etc. Just depends on the inspiration.

Omakase; 'I'll leave it up to you' means simply that it is chef's choice. And therefore we do not have a menu for the evening. We will have an overall theme; be it our Classic Omakase, Tempura or Kushiyaki, to name a few, but the specific menu will be decided and set by our chef, Terry and will therefore vary slightly from one evening to the next.
We are now developing our own youtube channel in which we aim to share everything we have learnt over the past 9 years of Umezushi's life. The idea is that you can purchase our ingredients and then make it yourselves by following our videos. We have curated tutorials on how to make all different kinds of sushi, to interviews and collaborations with the wider world of sushi to behind the scenes footage from our infamous Omakase evenings. We publish new videos every Thursday at 3PM and the link to our channel can be found by clicking the Umezushi Youtube button on our homepage.
